There is some music that is so intrinsically West Coast that no matter where I am in the world, it takes me home to the Pacific Northwest every time. Hey Ocean! is one of those bands. I met its three core members six or seven years ago when I worked at Cafe Zen in Kitsilano and have followed them over the years.Their unique sound always transports me to the dense rainforest, massive fir trees, north shore mountains, and Pacific Ocean that is Beautiful B.C. Their live shows kick ass and are so much fun. This week they released their first major label album and I am so thrilled for them!
